Meet, Eat and Sing
at Bruern Abbey School, Chesterton, near Bicester on Saturday, February 28th 2009 from 2 to 5 pm

with
Andrew Moodie
Director of Music, Northamptonshire Grammar School,
Choir Director, Kingsthorpe Parish Church,
Education Team Leader, RSCM Midlands
&
Chairman, RSCM Northampton

Following a very successful event at this delightful and idiosyncratic venue in February 2007, we once again gave members the chance to learn some new music, including anthems from the RSCM Silver Collection, along with other music of their choice, under expert tuition. At the same time, participants could enjoy the remarkable surroundings of Bruern Abbey School close to the M40 in Oxfordshire, whose panelled Drawing Room with its Steinway grand provides such an excellent venue for singing. Participants were able to meet friends from other churches as well as committee members, chat about the work of the RSCM, and get an idea of the standard required for the Silver Award - all this, over a splendid tea!
