Epiphany: Nowadays Epiphany is rather a neglected season - so why not join us in celebrating it at this special festival of music and readings? Co-directed by John Paton, the Precentor of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, it will mainly use free music which can be downloaded and prepared in advance from the Choral Public Domain Library website. (Links are in the table below.)

The service will be conducted by Dr Stephen Darlington, organist of Christ Church. In addition, the Cathedral Choir will take part, and will itself sing one or two anthems. Everyone is welcome to this event, both from the Oxford area and beyond whether as choirs or as individuals.

Participants should download, print off and bring their copies of the anthems listed below. The downloads are linked to the name of the anthems. Other links are: information about the composer; YouTube files of recordings of the works; and leaning files if you would find these helpful. Please avail yourself of these aids, so that you come well-prepared and really enjoy your afternoon!
